Social media users face trial in 30 new sectarian strife cases

The State Security and Terrorism Crimes Department is currently reviewing 30 new cases involving social media users accused of inciting sectarian strife.
The cases are being examined by a judicial panel headed by Counselor Nasser Al-Badr, alongside Judges Omar Al-Mulaifi, Abdullah Al-Faleh, and Salem Al-Zayed, reports Al-Rai daily.
Authorities are pursuing these cases as part of ongoing efforts to address content that promotes division and threatens national unity, particularly across social media platforms.
