The United Indian School in Kuwait (UIS), Department of Mathematics, hosted a dynamic and educational Mathematics Exhibition on November 4, officially inaugurated by Senior Principal Mr. C. Radhakrishnan. He marked the opening by cutting the ribbon, joined by the Vice Principals and faculty members.

The exhibition featured a variety of innovative displays and interactive models prepared by students, covering a wide range of mathematical concepts.

The highlights of the event included projects on geometric constructions, algebraic patterns, practical applications of calculus, probability games, and number puzzles. The working models created by the students demonstrated their clear understanding of the concepts. The Geometric Park was another highlight of the event. Each exhibit was thoughtfully designed to simplify and engage with complex mathematical ideas.

Additionally, students presented real-life applications of mathematics in fields such as engineering, finance, and technology. Their enthusiasm and clear explanations brought the concepts to life, showing how mathematics underpins many aspects of modern life.

The exhibition also encouraged hands-on participation, allowing students to engage directly with the models and experience the joy of problem-solving and discovery. In total, students from classes VI to IX and XI contributed 167 working models and 87 still models, showcasing their dedication and creativity.

A special highlight of the event was a dedicated session on Vedic Mathematics, where students were introduced to ancient techniques for performing quick mental calculations.

In summary, the Mathematics Exhibition, along with the Vedic Math session, provided an enriching experience that sparked curiosity and excitement, motivating students to explore the limitless possibilities within the world of mathematics.
