UN hails Kuwait for its expert status in integrity education

The achievement by “Nazaha” comes as part of a series of awareness messages aimed at spreading awareness about various integrity and anti-corruption issues.

During the period when the Public Authority for Anti-Corruption, “Nazaha,” achieved over 83 percent completion of the initiatives outlined in the National Anti-Corruption Strategy, its efforts led to Kuwait being recognized as an expert country in integrity education by the relevant United Nations office dealing with drugs and crime.

The announcement by Nazaha of this achievement comes as part of a series of awareness messages aimed at spreading awareness about various integrity and anti-corruption issues.

The authority confirmed that Kuwait’s experience in efforts to enhance integrity and combat corruption in the educational system is distinguished. This confirmation was made during participation in the tenth session of the Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, which was held last December at the invitation of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

The authority’s efforts to train teachers, incorporate integrity values, support teachers’ codes of conduct, and conduct other interactive activities for students were discussed during the conference.
