Thousands gather in Kuwait’s mosques for the 23rd blessed night

Melodious recitations echoed through mosques and Ramadan centers overflowing with thousands of worshippers, while outer courtyards were prepared to accommodate the large crowds seeking the blessings of the Night of Power or ‘Laylat al-Qadr’.

With heartfelt supplications, crowds of worshippers gathered to observe the second odd night of the last ten days of Ramadan, immersing themselves in an atmosphere of deep faith and spirituality amid meticulous preparations.

At the Grand Mosque, more than 7,670 worshippers participated in prayers, while Bilal bin Rabah Mosque provided designated prayer halls, a womens prayer room, and special services for the elderly and people of determination.

 

With the heartfelt supplication, “O Allah, You are the Pardoner, You love to pardon, so pardon us,” worshippers gathered in mosques across the country to observe the 23rd night of Ramadan in an atmosphere of deep faith and devotion.

Melodious recitations filled the air as mosques and Ramadan centers overflowed with worshippers, with even the outer courtyards prepared to accommodate the large crowds seeking the blessings of the Night of Power or ‘Laylat al-Qadr.

At the Grand Mosque, more than 7,670 worshippers participated in prayers, including 4,810 men and 2,860 women. Reciter Badr Al-Ali led the first four rak’ahs followed by reciter Omar Al-Damkhi for the last four. The evening also featured a spiritual reflection delivered by Dr. Bassam Al-Shatti, Al Anba newspaper reported.

Bilal bin Rabah Mosque witnessed a large turnout of worshippers on the 23rd night of Ramadan, offering an atmosphere of faith, spirituality, and seamless organization. Hospitality and various services were provided to ensure the utmost comfort for the guests of Allah, allowing for a smooth entry and exit.

The mosque continues to welcome worshippers throughout the last ten nights of Ramadan as they seek the Night of Power, which is better than a thousand months. Meanwhile, the relevant authorities remain committed to providing services and ensuring the comfort of all attendees.

As part of its annual tradition, the mosque invited some of the finest reciters, whose melodious voices inspire tranquility and humility. It also set up Ramadan tents to enhance the spiritual ambiance.

Additionally, the mosque facilitated assistance for worshippers, including designated prayer halls, a prayer room for women, and special services for the elderly and people of determination.

Worshippers expressed their appreciation for the exceptional efforts made, praising the well-organized parking spaces, the availability of numerous golf carts, and the distribution of hot drinks, juices, and dates. They prayed to Allah Almighty to reward those who built and oversee the mosque.

Al-Ghanim and Al-Kharafi Mosque

At Al-Ghanim and Al-Kharafi Mosque in Sulaibikhat, worshippers filled the mosque and its outer courtyards as reciter Mishary Al-Afasy led them in the last four rak’ahs. He prayed for Allah’s protection over Kuwait and its leadership and for the liberation of Al-Aqsa Mosque, repeatedly supplicating, “O God, You are the Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive us.”

Dr. Nayef Al-Ajmi delivered a spiritual sermon, urging worshippers to reflect on the reality of death, to prepare for the night they will meet their Lord through acts of obedience, and to seek forgiveness frequently while striving to do good deeds.
