Technical Guidance Department integrated into Education Ministry’s new structure

Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, announced the official incorporation of the Technical Guidance Department into the ministry’s new organizational structure, highlighting its vital contributions in supervising final exams, developing educational content, and guiding academic practices in the field.
His remarks came during a ceremony held Sunday evening at the Ministry’s Diwan Theater to honor outstanding high school graduates and “Ambassadors of Creativity” who excelled in local and international science competitions, reports Al-Rai daily.
Al-Tabtabaei also revealed plans to establish a special office for gifted students, directly overseen by the Minister. This initiative aims to nurture talented students from an early age and provide a stimulating environment for innovation, in line with Kuwait’s vision for a future led by national excellence.
The Minister praised students for their remarkable achievements, calling them “symbols of excellence and ambition” and affirming that “school benches are the true place to build the future of Kuwait.”
He also acknowledged their success in Gulf, Arab, and international forums, where they represented Kuwait with honor and distinction.
In an emotional address to parents, Al-Tabtabaei said, “I stand before you today as a father before being a minister, fully aware of the pride you feel and the sacrifices you have made to support your children’s educational journey.”
As part of the event, the Minister honored Mohammed Al-Wazzan (Administrative Supervisor of the Literary and Religious Education Department) and Faraj Nafaa (Administrative Supervisor of the Scientific Department) for their outstanding leadership during the examination period, praising their discipline and precise organization.
Student representative Yousef Al-Ibrahim expressed gratitude on behalf of the graduates, emphasizing the Minister’s presence as a symbol of state support for academic excellence. He urged his peers to continue striving for greatness.
In a moving address, Zainab Qamber, representing students with disabilities, shared her story of overcoming challenges, asserting that “success was not impossible, but the fruit of strong determination and belief in oneself.”
The event reflected the Ministry’s deep commitment to academic excellence, inclusivity, and the development of future generations.
