Sulaibikhat security campaign leads to 1,754 traffic violations

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that the campaigns are part of a comprehensive strategy to apprehend outlaws and wanted individuals, contributing to a safe and stable environment across all regions of Kuwait.

The Ministry of Interior conducted a wide-ranging security campaign in the Sulaibikhat area, leading to the issuance of 1,754 traffic violations, the detention of several violators and wanted individuals, and the arrest of two suspects found with narcotics, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The Ministry of Interior stated that, “As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen security and maintain order in the country, and under the direct supervision of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, the Ministry of Interior carried out a comprehensive security campaign in the Sulaibikhat area, with the participation of various security sectors, including the traffic sector, operations, and the private security sector.”

The campaign resulted in issuing 1,754 various traffic violations, the seizure of five violators of the Residence and Work Law, and the apprehension of five wanted individuals.

Additionally, three people were found absent, 17 individuals were arrested without proof, and two people were arrested in possession of suspected narcotic materials. Three vehicles and bicycles were booked due to pending issues, and eight vehicles and bicycles in violation of traffic laws were impounded.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that these campaigns are part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing security and public order, with a steadfast commitment to protecting the rights of citizens and residents, apprehending outlaws and wanted individuals, and contributing to a safe and stable environment across all regions of the country.
