“Social Affairs Ministry” grants shift allowance to juvenile department transfers
The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Dr. Khaled Al-Ajmi, issued an administrative decision determining the eligibility of those transferred to the Juvenile Department to receive a shift allowance.
The decision includes amendments to the exceptions for transfers between organizational units within the Ministry of Social Affairs.
The amendments to Administrative Resolution No. (931) of 2021, include adding a clause that allows the transfer of workers in the social care sector holding specialized and supportive social services positions, while ensuring they retain the shift allowance previously paid at their former workplaces.
The resolution applies to categories within the Department of Elderly Care and Family Nursery, as well as the Department of Juvenile Care, including: social specialists, psychologists, social services observers, legal researchers, and security and safety personnel.
The resolution is part of the Ministry’s efforts to organize administrative work, improve the work environment, and ensure workers’ rights, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency and performance across various sectors.
