Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef announces ramped-up campaigns to tackle residency violators

The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior affirmed that efforts to control the labor market will persist, including inspections, monitoring, and arrests of illegal workers, in collaboration with government agencies.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, affirmed on Wednesday that efforts to control the labor market will continue. This includes visits, inspection campaigns, and monitoring labor gathering places across governorates, as well as the arrest of illegal workers, in collaboration with relevant government agencies, particularly the Ministry of Interior, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

The General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior announced in a press release that Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower. The meeting was attended by the authority’s acting Director General, Marzouq Al-Otaibi, and Board members, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance and develop policies that serve various sectors in the country.

The minister praised the efforts of the authority’s stakeholders in developing the labor market mechanism and meeting its needs, ensuring the achievement of the state’s strategic goals in human and economic development.

During the meeting, agenda items were discussed, along with several topics and proposals aimed at advancing the labor market and ensuring its growth and stability. The minister was also briefed on security campaigns against residency law violators and the mechanisms for addressing them.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef calls for intensified efforts to boost public service quality

On the other hand, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef emphasized the need to intensify efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to the public. He highlighted the importance of utilizing all technical and human resources to save time and effort and ensuring complete integration between the concerned parties within a strategic framework that adheres to modern information standards and systems.

The General Department of Security Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior stated that Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef also chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Civil Information. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Interior’s headquarters and attended by the authority’s acting Director General, Jaber Al-Kandari, and board members.

During the meeting, the agenda items and proposals aimed at enhancing the Public Authority for Civil Information’s work were discussed. The statement also noted that the obstacles facing the authority’s operations and the necessary solutions were reviewed.
