Saudi Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday the successful interception of and destruction of three hostile that had entered Saudi airspace from the direction of Iraq earlier today.
In a brief statement, the Ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki affirmed that the Ministry reserves the right to respond to the incident at a time and place of its choosing.
He added that the Ministry also is implementing all required operational measures to retaliate to any assault attempts launched against its sovereignty, security, stability, as well as the safety of citizens and residents.
