Safeguarding nation’s security, stability is of paramount importance

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, emphasized the critical importance of maintaining peak readiness, vigilance, and preparedness among personnel within the Ministries of Defense and Interior.

He underscored the necessity of ongoing cooperation and coordination between military sectors to safeguard the nation’s security and stability, a paramount objective toward which all efforts are directed, reports Al-Qabas daily.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef made these remarks during his inspection today, Saturday, of several key sites along the country’s northern border. His visit encompassed locations such as Bubiyan, Warba, and Muskan Islands, as well as the naval platform of the Kuwaiti Naval Force “Faner Boubyan,” Mubarak Port, and border security points managed by the Ministries of Defense and Interior. He was accompanied by high-ranking military officials from both ministries.

Throughout his tour, Sheikh Fahd conveyed greetings and appreciation from His Highness the Amir, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, to the personnel of the Ministries of Defense and Interior. He commended their heroic contributions, dedication, and sincerity in serving the nation and upholding its security, stability, and territorial integrity.

During interactions with commanders at the visited military sites, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef received detailed briefings on the tasks and duties performed by their units.

He was informed about the high level of preparedness and readiness demonstrated by the personnel, as well as the depth of military coordination and cooperation between the Ministries of Defense and Interior. This collaborative effort extends to the execution of common tasks, duties, and joint exercises aimed at enhancing national security.
