Roads Authority announces opening of tunnel no. 2 on Cairo Street

The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART), in partnership with the General Traffic Department, announced the upcoming opening of Tunnel No. 2 on Cairo Street.

This new tunnel is situated beneath the Third Ring Road, and provides a passage for motorists traveling from Hawalli Square towards Kuwait City.

The official opening ceremony is scheduled for dawn on Friday, July 5, 2024.
