Najira Noushad, a popular traveler and social media influencer, arrived in Kuwait to complete her tenth country road journey. Known for her road trips from India to various countries in the Middle East, Najira has gained a significant following by sharing her travel experiences and adventures with her audience.
Noushad, hailing from Kerala, India, has always been driven by her adventurous spirit and passion for exploring new cultures and meeting people. This enthusiasm led her to take on the challenge of road traveling to neighboring countries.
Kuwait marks Noushad’s tenth country and eighth travel series, with one of her most notable journeys being her record-setting road trip to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022. The three-month van life journey to the World Cup was a groundbreaking feat. Reflecting on her experiences, Noushad shared that through these travels, she was able to learn more about cultures, interact with others, and receive respect from officials at port entries. Noushad said that she feels more confident in facing future challenges.
Noushad commented that her visits to the GCC have always been pleasant, with the people being very accommodating. Her recent trip to Saudi Arabia took three months on the road, during which she made sure to visit the many remarkable places the country offers, much like Kuwait. “People often believe it’s all deserts and empty places, but you’ll be amazed at what these countries have in store for visitors,” she added. Looking ahead, Noushad already has plans to travel to Iraq, Afghanistan, and Turkey, with these destinations next in her travel pipeline.
Moreover, when Noushad was asked about the message she would share with others, she emphasized that everyone should strive to be an inspiration to others, noting that her road trips reflect the spirit of women empowerment.
Noushad stated further that these road travels give her the opportunity to visit new places, and each trip brings happiness and satisfaction, while also building her competence, confidence, and sense of adventure.
Importantly, Noushad encouraged everyone not to miss the opportunity to visit Kuwait, highlighting the multitude of remarkable places and activities the country offers.
Among Noushad’s impressive accomplishments are: an All India Trip covering 13,000 km from Kerala to Ladakh by road in 60 days, passing through three international borders (Pakistan, Tibet, and China) in 2021; becoming the first woman to travel to all 10 islands of Lakshadweep in India in 2022; setting a world record as the first woman to reach Everest Base Camp (Nepal) in just 5 days in 2022; and proving that “a woman can travel alone in India” by hitchhiking mainly through trucks in 2022.
