“Public Works Ministry” mandates ‘fingerprint systems’ at construction sites

The Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Mohammed Al-Mishaan, announced the commencement of implementing the directives outlined in Circular No. (8) of 2024, issued by the Central Agency for Public Tenders. This initiative is part of a broader effort and framework to enhance oversight, promote transparency, and improve performance in government construction projects.
The Ministry of Public Works has mandated the use of the latest fingerprint systems by all contracting companies at their project sites. This measure aims to ensure accurate tracking of workers’ attendance and departure, while expediting the completion of development projects.
Al-Mishaan emphasized that the decision aims to ensure the best possible implementation of projects, enhance work efficiency, and uphold high standards of quality in execution.
