“Justice Minister” accelerates digitization for quality services in Kuwait

The Minister of Justice, Counselor Nasser Al-Sumait, confirmed that the Ministry is focusing on digital transformation and improving its role in launching services through the “Sahel” application.

More importantly, the Ministry aims to serve the public by enhancing the ease and quality of electronic services. In 2024, it planned to launch 30 new electronic services and has already developed 4 services through “Sahel.”

Minister Al-Sumait noted that in 2024, the Ministry of Justice processed over 2.53 million electronic transactions through the “Sahel” application, marking a 107% increase from the previous year.

Furthermore, Minister Al-Sumait shared that the number of notifications sent to users exceeded 7 million, reflecting a 75% increase from the previous year.

Minister Al-Sumait also mentioned that the total amount collected through the “Sahel” application in 2024 surpassed 18.61 million Kuwaiti dinars, reflecting a 125% increase from the previous year.
