Protection from the ire of fire
The Defense Command against Weapons of Mass Destruction of the Ministry of Defense concluded today, Thursday, a workshop entitled “Hazardous Materials”.
The workshop was organized by the General Fire Force Training Department – Shaddadiyah Fire Center for Hazardous Materials, which was launched on September 29.
Signifying the importance of protection and prevention from hazardous materials, The Ministry of Defense said in a press statement that the workshop aims to develop and raise the skills of all members of the command.
The participants learned how to deal with incidents caused by hazardous materials and devices for examining unknown materials. Also to determine the type of material, in addition to the center’s handling of incidents caused due to chemical, biological, radiological and explosions.
