Prosecution handled 49,763 cases in 2025, 7.6% more than in 2015

The report showed that the Public Prosecution handled 49,763 cases in 2025, marking a 7.6% increase compared to 2015, Al-Rai daily reports.
It provides a detailed breakdown of key crime indicators, along with comparative analysis across previous years, highlighting trends, averages, and percentage changes for each category of crime.
It further includes data on defendants, precautionary measures taken, case completion rates, the nature of prosecutorial decisions, and conviction rates in court rulings issued during 2025 for cases referred by the Public Prosecution to the courts.
