The Public Authority for Manpower has announced that a decision permitting the transfer of workers recruited in certain restricted sectors has come into effect from May 1 and will remain valid until June 30.
The authority clarified that applications for transfer must be submitted through the ‘As’hal’ service platform designated for companies, emphasizing that approval from the original employer is a mandatory condition for processing requests.
The sectors covered under the ministerial decision include small and medium enterprises, industry, agriculture, grazing, and fishing.
Officials noted that the move is part of a flexible regulatory approach designed to respond to evolving labor market demands while maintaining balance between employers and employees.
The authority added that the decision aims to enhance workforce mobility, support business needs, and improve overall labor market efficiency within a structured legal framework.
