Pakistan embassy’s flag hoisting ceremony marks National Day
Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq paid tribute to their forefathers whose sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia.
A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan to mark the country’s 84th National Day. Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq raised the Pakistan national flag in front of a large gathering of Pakistani community members from diverse backgrounds.
During the ceremony, special messages from the President, Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out. In their messages, the President and Prime Minister recalled the vision and determination of our forefathers. They also paid homage to the commitment and sacrifices made by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions, who worked tirelessly to turn Allama Iqbal’s dream into reality.
In his remarks, Ambassador Malik Muhammad Farooq congratulated all fellow Pakistanis and emphasized the significance of Pakistan’s National Day. He also paid tribute to their forefathers whose sacrifices led to the creation of a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia. He noted that Pakistan Day is being celebrated in the holy month of Ramadan, the month in which Pakistan was founded.
In the end, prayers were offered for the peace, progress, and prosperity of their homeland.
