PAFN raids unlicensed grocery story in Jahra
The Inspection Department of the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition of the Jahra Governorate, in cooperation with personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department raided a private residence which was being used as a grocery store selling food products.
The authority said the campaign, carried out as part of its ongoing monitoring efforts, also uncovered several violations, most notably selling food without obtaining a health license and allowing workers to handle food without the required health certificates.
Legal measures have been taken against the violators, the authority said.
