PAAAFR suspends fodder distribution until July 12 for system upgrade

The Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) announced the temporary suspension of fodder distribution services during the first week of July as part of efforts to upgrade the electronic system managing feed disbursement operations.

The authority stated that feed distribution was suspended starting Wednesday and will continue until Thursday, July 9, 2026, with services scheduled to resume on Sunday, July 12, following the completion of system modernization works.

According to the authority, the temporary suspension is aimed at enhancing the electronic system used for feed distribution in order to improve services provided to breeders and livestock owners, raise operational efficiency, and streamline procedures.

The authority explained that the upgrade forms part of broader efforts to strengthen digital infrastructure and improve electronic services in line with Kuwait’s digital transformation strategy. The updated system is expected to facilitate faster transactions, improve data accuracy, reduce processing time, and provide more flexible and efficient services for beneficiaries.

Officials added that the modernization will help improve the management of feed disbursement operations and reduce future obstacles that breeders and livestock owners may encounter.

The authority urged all beneficiaries of subsidized feed to take the temporary suspension into consideration and make the necessary arrangements in advance, stressing that the measure is purely technical and intended to improve the quality and efficiency of services once operations resume on the announced date.
