3 Kuwaiti female students top Science Section with 100% for first time in ministry history
Three Kuwaiti female students made history in the country’s high school examinations after achieving perfect scores of 100 percent in the science stream for the first time in the Ministry of Education’s history.
The outstanding students — Tayba Abdulhadi Al-Hajri, Ghalia Nasser Al-Azmi, and Moudhi Fahd Al-Dosari — topped the science section with full marks, marking a historic academic achievement and highlighting the growing excellence of Kuwaiti female students in education and science.
Their achievement came among approximately 35,545 students who successfully passed the twelfth-grade examinations this academic year.
In the arts stream, Egyptian student Yasmin Jihad ranked first with a score of 99.79 percent, while Kuwaiti student Noura Meshaal Al-Azmi secured the top position among Kuwaiti students with 99.4 percent.
In special education, Kuwaiti student Khalaf Al-Anzi achieved first place with 98.89 percent, while Syrian student Farah Darwish topped the religious education section with a perfect score of 100 percent. Kuwaiti student Aisha Al-Kandari ranked first among Kuwaiti students in the same section with 99.66 percent.
Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei approved the final results, which recorded a pass rate of 91.69 percent in the science stream, 83.55 percent in the arts stream, and 83.84 percent in religious education. A total of 58 students achieved perfect scores in the science section.
Al-Tabtabai described the announcement of results as a “special national occasion” reflecting pride shared by families, schools, and the nation, praising students for presenting an inspiring model of determination, ambition, and perseverance.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Education worked throughout the academic year to ensure student safety, maintain the continuity of education, and uphold fairness and integrity in examinations despite challenges faced during the academic period.
The minister added that the strong results reflect collective institutional efforts and cooperation between educational authorities and various state agencies to support and strengthen the educational system in Kuwait.
