Murder suspect arrested in Jahra after caught discarding bloody clothes
The suspect confessed to the crime and led authorities to the victim's body
• A suspect has been arrested in Jahra for a murder case. The arrest was made after the suspect was seen discarding blood-stained clothes in a dumpster.
The Criminal Investigation Department, specifically the Jahra Governorate Criminal Investigation Department, has successfully apprehended a suspect in a premeditated murder case, reports Al-Jarida newspaper.
The breakthrough came after a report was filed regarding an individual seen discarding blood-stained clothing in a garbage bin.
In a statement, the Ministry of Interior revealed that investigation teams immediately intensified their efforts to probe the incident. After reviewing surveillance footage, it was determined that the driver of a vehicle was the individual responsible for discarding the blood-stained clothing. By tracking the vehicle’s movements, authorities located it and discovered traces of blood inside. Subsequently, the suspect was apprehended.
During interrogation, the suspect confessed to murdering the victim, a domestic driver, and disposing of the body in a desert area behind Amghara scrap yard. The suspect also guided authorities to the exact location of the body.
A criminal case, numbered 59/2024, has been filed against the suspect in the Saad Al-Abdullah area for premeditated murder. The case has been referred to the competent authorities.
