Inspection drive targets investment housing violations

A field inspection campaign conducted by the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department at Kuwait Municipality in the Capital Governorate has resulted in the issuance of three violations and 14 warnings targeting investment housing properties in the Bneid Al-Qar area.
The campaign, carried out earlier on Wednesday, forms part of ongoing inspection efforts aimed at enforcing building regulations and ensuring compliance across various sectors.
In a statement, the municipality’s Public Relations Department confirmed that inspection campaigns are continuing across all six governorates involving both male and female engineers and supervisors tasked with monitoring construction activities and verifying adherence to approved building standards, reports Al-Rai daily.
The inspections cover a wide range of property categories, including private, investment, industrial, commercial, agricultural, and craft housing.
Officials emphasized that the Bneid Al-Qar campaign marks the second field operation in the Capital Governorate, with additional inspection tours scheduled to take place in other areas according to a coordinated timetable developed with relevant departments.
The municipality reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing regulations, addressing violations, and maintaining urban order through sustained field monitoring.
