Minister Al-Mutairi announces 2,000 dinar reward to each victorious “Al-Azraq” player
Kuwait’s Minister of Information and Culture, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Arabian Gulf Cup Football (Gulf Zain 26), Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, congratulated the players of the Kuwaiti national football team on their well-deserved victory over their Emirati counterpart with a 2-1 score.
The match, which took place on Tuesday, 24 December, at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, highlighted the team’s impressive performance and determination.
Minister Al-Mutairi announced today, Wednesday, 25 December, the allocation of a financial reward of 2,000 dinars for each player in recognition of their honorable performance in the Arabian Gulf Cup. He praised the distinguished performance of the team, emphasizing that it reflects the spirit of determination and the resolve they possess.
Importantly, Minister Al-Mutairi expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah. He acknowledged their unwavering support for sports and athletes in the country.
Minister Al-Mutairi noted the important role of the Kuwait Football Association, headed by H.E. Sheikh Ahmed Al-Yousef, in supporting the national team’s progress and advancing national sports. He also recognized the valuable contributions of the team’s technical and administrative staff.
