Medical graduates called to embrace Kuwait’s health renaissance
Medical graduates belong to a profession guided by humanity and driven by compassion — live up to this noble mission – Dr Al-Hassawi

Minister of Health Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi affirmed that Kuwait’s new health projects are being built by capable hands and managed by professionals who believe in dedication, teamwork, and integration.
This statement was made by Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health Affairs Dr. Munther Al-Hassawi on Tuesday on behalf of the minister during a ceremony honoring Kuwaiti students who graduated from the University of Jordan.
Dr. Al-Hassawi congratulated the graduates, recognizing their perseverance saying, “This achievement did not come easily — it was a path marked by hard work, sleepless nights, and unwavering commitment. You have earned this moment through patience and dedication.”
He went on to say, “Today, you are invited to actively contribute to the advancement of your homeland, particularly in the vital national health projects under way. These are not luxury endeavors — they are a national necessity and a historical responsibility,” reports Al-Rai daily.
He emphasized the need for cooperation and interdisciplinary collaboration in the medical field, stating, “A doctor’s success is incomplete without a nurse. A laboratory cannot thrive without diagnostic work. Medical services depend on the combined efforts of administrators, technicians, doctors, pharmacists, and others.”
Despite the global challenges and pressures facing the healthcare sector, Dr Al-Hassawi praised those who choose the profession, describing them as “people of mission whose determination surpasses obstacles.”
He concluded with a heartfelt message to the graduates, “You belong to a profession guided by humanity and driven by compassion—live up to this noble mission.”
