Major road maintenance in Sabah Al-Ahmad City begins
The road maintenance by the Ministry of Public Works marks the beginning of a comprehensive project that includes eighteen road development contracts across Kuwait's governorates.

Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, the Minister of Public Works, announced on Wednesday the start of road maintenance in Sabah Al-Ahmad City, marking the beginning of a comprehensive project that includes eighteen road development contracts across Kuwait’s governorates, as reported by Arabic daily Al Qabas.
In a press statement, Al-Mashaan emphasized that these initiatives will enhance the country’s infrastructure, support economic growth, and contribute to realizing the “New Kuwait 2035” vision by improving the quality of life for citizens.
She stressed the ministry’s commitment to adhering to international quality standards in the implementation of work, noting that roads are the lifeline of economic and urban development.
For his part, Engineer Mubarak Al-Qahtani, the supervisor of Contract 16 in the Second Zone of the Ahmadi Governorate at the Ministry of Public Works, stated that the Ministry’s teams were present in Sabah Al-Ahmad City, along the axis separating the first and second suburbs, to carry out maintenance on the surface layer.
