Maintenance work to temporarily disrupt fresh water supply on May 3
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has announced scheduled maintenance of the water network as a result of which the following areas may experience temporary weakened or reduced water supply — Al-Ardhiya, Sabah Al-Nasser, Al-Rehab, Ishbiliya, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Al-Firdous.
In a statement posted on its official account on the “X” platform, the ministry said that technical teams will begin work on the water network at the Doha Water Distribution Complex from 8:00 pm on Friday, May 3, and the work is expected to continue for 12 hours, reports Al-Rai daily.
The authorities have advised the public to take necessary precautions in advance and urged affected residents to contact 152 should they encounter any issues or require assistance during the maintenance period.
The Ministry emphasized that this routine maintenance is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance water distribution efficiency and ensure long-term reliability of services.
