Kuwait’s electricity load sets new record, topping 11,500 megawatts

Kuwait’s electricity load hit a new high of 11,545 megawatts on Tuesday — the highest so far this year — amid soaring temperatures and rising consumption. The Ministry of Electricity is ramping up maintenance to prepare for peak summer demand, reported Arabic daily Al Jarida.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has urged citizens and residents to rationalize electricity consumption, especially during peak hours, by using electrical appliances responsibly, adjusting air conditioning settings, and helping reduce loads to maintain grid stability and ensure uninterrupted service for all.
