Kuwaiti flyers frustrated with Kuwait Airways’ Malaga flights flop
Citizens booked direct Kuwait-Málaga flights in advance but were surprised by Kuwait Airlines' new Kuwait-Málaga-Madrid-Kuwait route starting July 3.
• Some citizens were surprised by the new development by Kuwait Airways, which is no longer limited to the destination in Spain but also affects other destinations.
Several citizens voiced their dissatisfaction with the recent underperformance of Kuwait Airways flights, particularly those to the city of Málaga in the Kingdom of Spain.
They explained that they had booked a long time in advance with Kuwait Airways directly to Málaga, expecting a direct itinerary from Kuwait to Malaga and then back to Kuwait. However, they were surprised by Kuwait Airlines’ announcement on May 28, revealing that the destination itinerary would change starting from July 3 to include the flight route Kuwait – Málaga – Madrid – Kuwait.
On August 21, the tour line will also be “Kuwait-Madrid-Málaga-Kuwait,” which has caused confusion among citizens who have already made bookings. This situation has not only left them bewildered but has also led to financial losses due to the flights no longer being as direct as initially booked.
