Sheikh Khalid Al-Sabah praised the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) following a coordination meeting with Saif Al Mazrouei, CEO of the ports sector at Abu Dhabi Ports Group, regarding economic and investment cooperation. This collaboration culminated in the inauguration of the Safin office in Kuwait for Abu Dhabi Ports Group and the Maritime Classification Office of the Emirates Classification Authority, which will enhance maritime transport services and increase cooperation to facilitate trade traffic.
For his part, Al Mazrouei emphasized the importance of strategic cooperation between the two sides to promote the development of logistics services in the region, adding, “We share with Kuwait a joint vision aimed at making the region a global hub for logistics and commercial services.”
He added, “We intend to leverage the competitive advantages of both sides to exchange experiences and modern technology in port management and logistics, while committing to the principles of environmental and social sustainability.”
