Kuwait to deport Bangladeshi, impounds pickup truck over littering in Jabriya
Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior has detained a Bangladeshi expatriate pending deportation and impounded his pickup truck after he was caught littering in Jabriya, according to a ministry statement. Traffic officers arrested the driver following a complaint about the incident. Authorities also found that he was driving a vehicle without a licence authorising him to operate that type of vehicle.
The driver was issued traffic violations for littering and driving without the required licence before being transferred to the traffic detention centre pending deportation proceedings. His vehicle was impounded in accordance with the applicable procedures. The General Traffic Department said it would continue taking legal action against violators to maintain road safety and public order.
