Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam, M. A. Hythar Group host 8th annual Iftar

The eighth Annual Iftar, co-hosted by the Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam and M.A. Hythar Group on March 28, drew over 2,000 attendees at the M.A. Hythar Group office in Mirqab, marking a major step in strengthening Tamil community bonds in Kuwait.
Distinguished guests, including Dr. S.M. Hyder Ali, Chairman of the M.A. Hythar Group, and Eng. G. Raja, President of the Tamilnadu Engineers Forum (TEF), Kuwait, graced the occasion. Officials from the Indian Embassy also attended, further highlighting the significance of the event.
A special speech was delivered by Imam Maulavi Theni Yasar Arafat Aalim Imdadi, Principal of Aljanna Women’s Arabic College in Chidambaram, who shared an insightful address with the attendees.
The event witnessed broad representation, with members from various Indian associations, social activists, media representatives, and Indian political parties, along with Tamil community members, coming together to mark the occasion.
The Iftar was organized by the M.A. Hythar Group staff and the Kuwait Tamil Makkal Sevai Maiyam under the leadership of Executive Chairman Rahman, Secretary Sahul, and key members Rasik, Abudhakir, Balu, Rashid, Yunus, and social worker Alibai. Their dedicated efforts played a vital role in making this year’s program a memorable and meaningful experience for all.
