Minister of Education pushes for market-relevant academic paths

Jalal Al-Tabtabaei highlighted the importance of exploring post-high school opportunities and emphasized the need to guide students towards fields of study that align with labor market demands and Kuwait’s Vision 2035.

During the My Studies exhibition, Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, Minister of Education, emphasized the value of awareness sessions in motivating students, building skills, and strengthening ties between educational institutions.

This came during his inauguration of the “My Studies” exhibition at the exhibition grounds, attended by several Ministry of Education leaders and representatives from other entities.

Al- Tabtabaei said the exhibition offers an ideal platform to raise awareness among male and female students, helping them choose majors that align with their future aspirations and the “New Kuwait 2035” vision, as well as the goals of the political leadership.

He added that the Ministry of Education’s participation in such events plays a key role in strengthening communication between educational institutions, students, and parents, facilitating information exchange, and exploring opportunities in education and professional development.

He also emphasized the importance of the awareness lectures and productive discussions held on the sidelines of the exhibition, given their impact on motivating students, developing their skills, and nurturing their scientific talents.

He noted that the exhibition underscores the value of community partnership and continued collaboration between the public and private sectors, featuring a wide range of educational and academic institutions and introducing students to academic opportunities through available scholarships.
