Supply and logistics backbone of armed forces, says defense minister
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah praised the Supply and Logistics Authority for its vital role in supporting the armed forces and urged continued dedication to serving the nation and leadership.

• Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah began his visit with a briefing on the Supply and Logistics Authority’s key role, ongoing projects, and efforts to boost military efficiency and readiness.
On Monday morning, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah visited the Supply and Logistics Authority in Subhan, accompanied by Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
He was received by Deputy Chief of Staff for Supply and Logistics Major General Engineer Salah Al-Azmi and several senior commanders and officers, Arabic daily Al Jarida reported.
He began his visit with a visual presentation outlining the authority’s key responsibilities and its vital role in supporting the military system, along with ongoing development projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing performance efficiency and boosting technical and logistical readiness.
The minister then toured several of the authority’s key facilities, where he was briefed on operations at the Maintenance Command, the Weapons and Ammunition Camp, and the specialized technical workshops. He was also informed about protocols for handling sensitive materials and the security and safety measures implemented in the storage warehouses.
At the conclusion of his tour, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah praised the Supply and Logistics Authority for its pivotal role in supporting the armed forces and enhancing their readiness.
He commended the professionalism and dedication of its members and urged continued teamwork and commitment in serving the nation and fulfilling the vision of the wise leadership under His Highness the Amir Sheikh MeshalAl-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
