Kuwait, Tajikistan seek stronger ties as new Ambassador presents credentials

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Kuwait, H.E. Khusrav Noziri, on the occasion of the commencement of his diplomatic mission in Kuwait.
During the meeting, the ambassador presented copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister.
Both sides reviewed the current status of bilateral relations and explored prospects for further cooperation between Kuwait and Tajikistan.

They reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening long-standing ties of friendship and expanding collaboration across various fields of mutual interest.
Particular emphasis was placed on following up the outcomes of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, to Kuwait in November 2024, with discussions focusing on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, education, culture, tourism, and development partnerships.
Ambassador Noziri conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the leadership of Tajikistan to Kuwait’s leadership, expressing his readiness to work towards further advancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two friendly countries.

For his part, the Foreign Minister welcomed the ambassador and expressed hope for further progress and development in bilateral relations between Kuwait and Tajikistan, reaffirming the commitment of both sides to strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Diplomatic relations between Kuwait and Tajikistan were established on March 31, 1995, and have since developed into a constructive partnership based on mutual respect, trust, and shared interests.
