Kuwait shuts down five embassies and consulate abroad
Kuwait has announced the closure of five embassies and one consulate abroad. The decision comes as part of Decree No. 68 of 2024, which officially abolishes diplomatic missions in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Gabon, and Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, in line with Cabinet Resolution No. 1279 of 2024, the country’s consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, will also be discontinued.
