Kuwait Seismic Network dismisses earthquake reports

The National Seismic Network, operating under the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, has confirmed today, that no earthquake has been recorded within the State of Kuwait thus far.

Despite social media reports circulating earlier in the day alleging tremors were felt inside the country, the seismic network asserts that no seismic activity has been detected.

The clarification comes in response to rumors spreading on social media platforms, with some citizens and residents claiming to have felt tremors in certain areas. However, the seismic network’s monitoring indicates no seismic events within Kuwait, debunking the circulated misinformation.
