Kuwait reaffirms commitment to UN Charter

The State of Kuwait has reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to the principles and objectives of the United Nations Charter, emphasizing its belief in the essential role of multilateral cooperation in preserving international peace and security, particularly amid rising regional and global tensions.
In a statement issued on Friday to mark the International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Kuwait’s continued support for international efforts aimed at strengthening preventive diplomacy, fostering dialogue and mutual understanding, and resolving crises through peaceful means.
The statement stressed the importance of approaches grounded in respect for national sovereignty and international law, as well as the need to build effective partnerships based on cooperation and shared responsibility.
Kuwait further underscored that such efforts are vital to advancing a more just, balanced, and stable international system capable of addressing today’s complex global challenges.
