Kuwait reaffirms commitment to transparency in social sectors

• Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, emphasized the ministry’s role in enhancing performance and upholding Kuwait’s reputation in humanitarian and social work, stressing that it will not hesitate to take necessary measures to rectify issues and safeguard the nation’s achievements.

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to overseeing cooperative and charitable sectors and public benefit associations.

Speaking to Al Rai newspaper, she emphasized the ministry’s role in ensuring transparency, enhancing performance, and upholding Kuwait’s reputation in humanitarian and social work.

Minister Al-Huwailah told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the ministry follows a clear and professional approach in monitoring and overseeing the work of these three sectors to implement best practices and ensure compliance with governing laws and regulations.

She emphasized that this oversight reflects the ministry’s belief in the vital role these sectors play in serving Kuwaiti society and meeting its needs.

She further stated that the ministry is determined to address any misconduct or violations that could affect charitable, cooperative, or social work, stressing that it will not hesitate to take necessary measures to rectify issues and safeguard the nation’s achievements.
