Kuwait Municipality to discuss shelters for stray dogs
The Technical Committee of the Municipal Council is set to meet next Tuesday to review a request from the General Authority for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs to allocate land for stray dog shelters, reports Q8-Press.
Manal Al-Asfour, Director General of the Municipality, stated that the Municipality has contacted the Agriculture Authority to identify suitable locations for these shelters within the Al-Wafrah, Al-Abdali agricultural, Kabd, and Al-Salhia areas.
The Agriculture Authority has been asked to specify the area and coordinates of the proposed sites to complete a comprehensive review of the application.
