Kuwait Municipality clears 48 illegal camps in northern region
The municipality emphasized that inspection teams are continuing to remove all encampments violating the official camping period set by the authorities.

Kuwait Municipality announced that its Jahra branch, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, launched alarge-scale campaign on Sunday to remove illegal encampments whose stay had expired. The operation took place along the right side of Abdali Road, from Al-Mutlaato Al Rawdatain, according to Arabic daily Al Jarida.
In a press release, the municipality emphasized that inspection teams continue to remove all camps in violation of the official camping period set by the municipality. It noted that the removal operations are being supervised and monitored by the Director-General of Kuwait Municipality, Engineer Manal Al-Asfour.
She explained that the extensive field campaign led to the removal of 48 camps and their annexes, and that legal action was taken against violators, with no leniency shown toward anyone who breaches Kuwait Municipality regulations.
