Kuwait Launches Investigation into Escape of Three Wanted Individuals
Committee tasked with identifying lapses and holding those responsible accountable

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah, has ordered the formation of an immediate investigation committee to examine the circumstances surrounding the escape of three individuals wanted in corruption-related cases.
The directive comes as part of the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring accountability within all security and administrative institutions. The committee has been instructed to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the incident, determine how the escape occurred, identify any shortcomings or negligence, and submit its findings without delay.
The ministry emphasized that all necessary legal measures will be taken against anyone found responsible for facilitating or contributing to the escape, whether through negligence, misconduct, or abuse of authority.
The decision reflects the ministry’s firm stance against corruption and its determination to pursue fugitives and those who attempt to evade justice. Authorities reaffirmed that no individual is above the law and that accountability will be enforced at all levels.
