Kuwait intensifies road maintenance in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, boosts infrastructure efficiency
The Ministry of Public Works is continuing road maintenance projects across Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate as part of a comprehensive nationwide plan aimed at upgrading Kuwait’s road network and enhancing infrastructure efficiency to improve services and traffic flow.
Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan has emphasized the importance of completing the projects according to the highest quality standards while accelerating implementation timelines.
She noted that the current works include maintenance of both main and internal roads under newly awarded contracts covering several governorates.
Al-Mashaan added, the field teams are carrying out extensive scraping, repaving and technical treatment works, in addition to asphalt paving on major roads in different areas of the governorate.
The projects are being executed according to a defined schedule and continuous monitoring plan aimed at addressing road deterioration and improving road safety.
She added the maintenance efforts are designed to reduce road damage, minimize traffic disruptions and improve driving conditions for motorists throughout the governorate.
The minister stressed the ministry is intensifying field operations during the current phase to ensure rapid completion while minimizing the impact on traffic movement.
She affirmed that the large-scale maintenance works form part of a broader development vision focused on modernizing infrastructure and supporting Kuwait’s long-term development plans.
