Kuwait government to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr from April 9-14

The Civil Service Commission announced on Tuesday, the suspension of work in all ministries, government agencies, public bodies, and institutions, starting from Tuesday, April 9, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. Official work will resume on Sunday, the 14th of the same month.

The bureau stated, in a tweet on its official account on the “X” platform, that the first, second, and third days of Eid al-Fitr are considered an official holiday, while the remaining days are considered rest days. It indicated that agencies and entities with specialized operations will determine their holiday schedule taking into account the public interest.
