Kuwait extends suspension of sporting events amid ongoing assessment
Kuwait’s sports sector will remain on hold until further notice, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs Tareq Al-Jalahma announced on Thursday.
The decision follows recommendations issued by a joint committee tasked with evaluating the impact of current developments on the country’s sporting activities, according to a statement released by the ministry.
The ministry indicated that the suspension will remain in place pending further assessments, as authorities continue to monitor the situation and prioritize safety and stability across all sectors.
