Kuwait begins installing CCTV cameras at disability care homes
The Public Authority for Disability Affairs is installing surveillance cameras at care homes in Sulaibikhat and South Sabahiya to ensure the safety and monitor the movement of residents of these facilities.
The authority said in a post on its “X” account that the installation is being carried out based on the directives of Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah. The cameras are intended to strengthen the protection and safety of residents and improve monitoring and follow-up within the care homes.
The authority said the project is being implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Interior to support monitoring needs of residents and improve the quality of care and services provided to them.
