Kuwait banks announce Eid Al-Fitr holidays with two possible dates

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Kuwait Banking Association, Sheikha Al-Essa, announced that in coordination with the Central Bank of Kuwait, local banks will observe a holiday for Eid Al-Fitr.
If the first day of Eid falls on Sunday, March 30, 2025, banks will remain closed from Sunday to Tuesday (March 30 to April 1) and will resume operations on Wednesday, April 2.
Whereas, if the first day of Eid falls on Monday, March 31, 2025, local banks will be closed from Sunday, March 30, to Wednesday, April 2. In this case, Sunday, March 30, will be considered a day off, and official operations will resume on Thursday, April 3. This schedule is in accordance with the circular issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait.
The Kuwait Banking Association on this occasion, extends its heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, the people of Kuwait, and all bank customers.
