Kuwait Army Announces Live Ammunition Firing Exercise at Naval Range
Public urged to avoid designated maritime zones from July 7–9
The Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations of the Kuwaiti Army announced to sea-goers, including fishing and recreational enthusiasts, that the naval force will conduct live-fire exercises from tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7, 2026, to the day after tomorrow, Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in the marine firing range, located 16.5 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Julaia extending to Qaruh Island, and 6 nautical miles east of Ras Al-Zour extending to Umm Al-Maradim Island.
The Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations urged citizens and residents who frequent the land and sea to avoid approaching the aforementioned areas during the announced period, in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
