Kuwait announces fundraising campaign to clear citizens’ debts

Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, announced the ministry’s plan to initiate a national donation campaign aimed at settling the debts of indebted citizens, as reported by Al Jarida newspaper.

In a press statement issued on the sidelines of her attendance at the group breakfast organized by the Public Authority for the Disabled at the Social Care Homes Complex in Sulaibikhat, Al-Huwailah stated, “This year’s campaign, which is expected to launch soon, will be under the full supervision of the Ministry of Social Affairs and in cooperation with registered charitable societies in the country.”
