Kuwait and UAE discuss ways to enhance cooperation in key fields

• Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said boosting joint efforts and exchanges between Kuwaiti and UAE youth organizations will enhance leadership, sustainability, and youth development.
Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, met Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, the UAE’s Minister of State for Youth Affairs, to explore ways to enhance fraternal ties and boost cooperation between the two countries across various youth sectors, reported Arabic daily Al Jarida.
In a press statement following the meeting held at the Ministry of Information on the occasion of Minister Al-Neyadi’s official visit to Kuwait, Minister Al-Mutairi emphasized the importance of continuing to build bridges of communication and cooperation between the two countries, in line with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
Minister Al-Mutairi stated that strengthening joint efforts and increasing the exchange of expertise and visits between youth organizations in both countries will advance youth development, fostering leadership, sustainability, and growth. He added that successful experiences should be leveraged to inspire and empower young people.
He noted that both sides agreed on the importance of adopting a unified Gulf vision on youth-related issues and coordinating positions in regional and international forums to elevate the profile of Gulf youth and express their aspirations. He stressed that Gulf cooperation presents a valuable opportunity to build a brighter future for the coming generations.
Al-Mutairi also pointed out that both parties agreed to exchange visits, expertise, and best practices between youth delegations, which would further strengthen bilateral cooperation—especially in empowering youth and enhancing their leadership roles in society. He welcomed Minister Al-Neyadi and his accompanying delegation to Kuwait.
For his part, Minister Dr. Sultan Al-Neyadi praised Kuwait’s pioneering efforts in youth development, expressing the UAE’s keenness to deepen collaboration and benefit from Kuwait’s innovative initiatives led by the Ministry of State for Youth Affairs.
Minister Al-Neyadi noted that such meetings reflect the spirit of constructive cooperation between the two brotherly countries, through the exchange of expertise and successful experiences across various fields—investing in the capabilities and energies of young people to develop their communities and preparing qualified youth leaders capable of driving transformative change in future sectors.
He emphasized that this approach demonstrates the commitment of the wise leadership in both countries to empower Gulf youth and support their aspirations. He also expressed his gratitude to the Kuwaiti side for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended during his official visit.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Public Authority for Youth presented the visiting minister with a souvenir—a heritage artwork entirely crafted by Kuwaiti youth from the Authority’s Youth Heritage Crafts Center. In return, the Emirati minister gifted Minister Al-Mutairi a framed photo with a team of astronauts from the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center, along with the logos of the “ZayedAmbition 1” and “Zayed Ambition 2” missions.
